About project
What we built, and why
- Industry
- Community
- Built by
- iSquare in-house
- 01
Prayer times change daily and differ between mosques, yet most communities still distribute them as a printed timetable or a photo in a group chat.
- 02
When a time changes at short notice there is no reliable way to tell everyone quickly.
- 03
Committees are volunteers. Anything needing technical skill to run is abandoned within a month.
Client request · The brief
The ask came from inside our own team, after volunteering with a local committee and watching prayer times get texted around a WhatsApp group by hand.
They needed something a non-technical volunteer could run themselves, with no training and no ongoing tech support.

Admin
The committee dashboard
Designed the admin dashboard first, since a volunteer who can’t update it in a minute is worse than no app at all.

Summary
Where Masjid Connect stands today
It is why we are careful about who really uses an admin interface. The people maintaining a system are rarely the people who commissioned it, and are often the least technical in the chain. We design admin flows for whoever will use them at 9pm on a phone.
Masjid Connect is launching soon and will be free to use, with the first mosques lined up to onboard as word spreads through committees.
